The November 26 episode of WWE NXT was a big night for the brand as they continued setting the stage for Deadline. One stable, who had Deadline plans, sadly wont make it to the premium live event. This weeks NXT started out with a goodbye to Chase U.
Although Chase Us music struck as NXT kicked off this week, it was Ridge Holland who ran through the big banner instead. He loved getting heat from fans, as they all wanted to see the college-themed stable instead.
Holland was there to say, I told you so and get a tremendous amount of heat while hyping his match against Trick Williams at Deadline on December 7. This was a very short opening segment, as he ended things with a mic drop.
Trick Williams was about to give Andre Chase an NXT Title shot at Deadline, but then Ridge Holland interjected. Holland forced Chases hand and ended up getting him to agree to a match where he put his #1 contender shot and his own stable on the line.
During the November 19 edition of WWE NXT, Andre Chase lost a heartbreaking match against Ridge Holland. That meant Chase U was over, as it was stated that his relationships with Duke Hudson, Thea Hale, and all the other Chase U students had to come to an end.
