The November 26 episode of NXT brought fans even closer to NXT Deadline. Although the premium live event is in the pipeline, they still included a couple title matches, including some that would further set the stage for the December 7 premium live event.
In the Womens Iron Survivor Challenge Qualifying Match during this weeks NXT, Giulia vs. Kelani Jordan too center stage. This match came after Tony DAngelo was able to retain his NXT North American Championship against Shawn Spears.
After a hard-fought match, one that included several near-falls and close-calls, Giulia nailed a powerful move for the clean win. That will let the former STARDOM stand-out advance to Deadlines Womens Iron Survivor Challenge match.
Giulia was looking to break out into NXT after her long-awaited debut at NXT Stand & Deliver. Also, Kelani Jordan wanted to get her footing in the division after dropping the NXT Womens North American Title to Fallon Henley.
The Womens Iron Survivor Match currently includes Sol Ruca, ZARIA, and Stephanie Vaquer, and now Giulia. On the other side, the Mens match features JeVon Evans, Wes Lee, and Nathan Frazer. Ethan Page qualified for the match this week as he beat Axiom.
The next NXT premium live event, NXT Deadline, will go down on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Minneapolis Armory in Minnesota. The event is coming together quickly, but the Iron Survivor Challenge matches will certainly take the spotlight.
