Matt Hardy is back in TNA Wrestling, and hes loving every moment of his return. In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Hardy reflected on his storied history with the company and shared his thoughts on how TNAs current management is making waves for all the right reasons.

For Hardy, TNAs latest resurgence under Anthem Sports & Entertainment is a stark contrast to the turbulent days of his previous run. Reflecting on his iconic Broken Universe era, Hardy admitted that while it was one of the most creatively fulfilling periods of his career, the challenges came later when management shifted.

Theres no hatred, theres no resentment, Hardy said about those earlier days. But just the right people werent put in the right places. It was a new business taking over wrestling that really didnt know wrestling as much.

Fast forward to 2024, and Hardy is thrilled with how Anthem is handling things. The legendary tag team star praised the leadership team, which includes Executive Producer Ariel Shnerer and Gail Kim heading up talent relations, with Tommy Dreamer, Jorge Barbosa, and Delirious steering creative.

Now Anthem is doing a great job because they have people in the role of the bosses that know wrestling and they understand what theyre doing, Hardy shared. This run has been the most fun Ive had in a very, very long time. Probably the most fun Ive had since my run as Broken Matt Hardy, and the year that I did The Broken Universe.

Hardys praise underscores the stability Anthem has brought to the TNA brand since its Hard To Kill relaunch in January 2024. After years of ups and downsincluding the tumultuous period where Billy Corgan became president only to be ousted months laterTNA seems to have found its footing.

Hardys return alongside his brother Jeff Hardy adds star power to a roster already benefiting from Anthems strategic leadership. With Matt declaring his current run as one of his most enjoyable, its clear TNA Wrestling is hitting its stride under the new regime.
