Fans fondly remember the Monday Night Wars between WCW Nitro and WWE RAW as they competed in a battle for supremacy. Eric Bischoff was responsible for WCW beating WWE for 83 weeks in a row but now Bischoff has revealed that he and Vince McMahon never had a proper conversation about the Monday Night Wars.
While speaking on Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Eric Bischoff was asked if he ever received any kind of validation from Vince McMahon for his accomplishments during the Monday Night Wars.
Bischoff explained that during his time in WWE from 2002 to 2006 as an on-screen talent, he never had a serious talk with Vince McMahon about the past. While he worked with Vince in matches and segments, they never discussed anything from the Monday Night Wars or why Vince McMahon didnt respond to Bischoffs challenges during that time.
Even when Bischoff briefly worked as an executive in WWE, those conversations didnt happen. Bischoff stated that their interactions stayed focused on the work at hand, not on the history between them.
Vince McMahon is also set to tackle the Monday Night Wars in one of his projects from his entertainment company. Regardless, Eric Bischoff made it clear he wasnt really surprised McMahon never had a proper conversation with him about the Monday Night Wars and he has now made peace with that fact.
