LA Knight is the United States Champion right now but it wasnt an easy journey for him to join WWE. Fans clearly remember LA Knights appearance on Triple Hs Fitness DVD from a decade ago and now Knight has revealed how that appearance came together.
While speaking during an interview with Jazzys World TV, LA Knight was asked about his appearance in Triple Hs fitness DVD from 2014 and how it even happened. The video was filmed at the WWE Performance Center and featured NXT talent. LA Knight, then known as Slate Randall, was one of the participants and gave his iconic Yeah! during the workout.
Knight explained that he didnt know how the selection process worked. They simply told him to show up for a workout and bring some clothes, and they provided wardrobe as well. He noted that the people chosen for the video were likely those who were in good shape. When asked if the experience helped his career, Knight joked that it probably didnt since he was fired soon after, and that all happened about 10 years ago.
Alls well that ends well for LA Knight as he is now a constant presence on WWE television and Triple H clearly trusts him as the United States Champion, so its safe to say his hard work and perseverance paid off in a big way.
