Maven Huffman, the Tough Enough Season 1 winner and former WWE star, recently opened up about the highs and lows of his WWE royalty payments on his YouTube channel. Known for his memorable feud with The Undertaker in 2002, Maven shed light on how much hes earned since stepping away from the ring in 2005.

While royalties were once a lucrative perk for former WWE superstars, Maven revealed that the introduction of the WWE Network in 2014 caused a major drop in these payments. Sharing a moment with his viewers, he disclosed the amount of his latest royalty check: a mere $63.

Once the WWE put out the Network, I will be honest, royalty payments for me took a nosedive, Maven said. The last royalty check I got was $63. But, even still, the fact that Im getting checks for a job I havent done in almost 20 years, Im eternally grateful, and it still kinda shocks me to this day.

Before the WWE Network era, Maven described royalty payments as a consistent and generous source of income. He detailed receiving $2,000-$5,000 every three months for DVD and video sales, as well as merchandise purchases.

Freshly removed from leaving the WWE, I was getting handsome royalty payments of anywhere from $2,000-$5,000 every three months, he explained. It was for work I had already done. I didnt have to do anything else. It was something that I looked forward to and even waited on, in some cases.

Although Mavens WWE days are long behind him, the fact that hes still receiving royalties, no matter the amount, speaks volumes about his legacy in the company.

What do you think about Mavens royalty revelations? Should WWE stars be earning more for their past contributions? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
