During an Instagram Live session, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion addressed the swirling reports that AEW has no plans to release him or use him anytime soon. While Fenix didnt explicitly name AEW, his words seemed like a direct response to the chatter dominating the wrestling world.
There are many things that are not known, but that also should not be talked about, Fenix said, clearly frustrated by the speculation. We have to wait. Professionalism above all, gentlemen.
Fenix went on to criticize those fueling the rumors, taking a pointed jab at wrestling podcasts and commentators whove been dissecting his situation. We must not be the same as all those podcasts that go around spitting out what should not be spit out, he added. Never belittling our work. There are things that must always be respected.
The cryptic yet fiery remarks seem to suggest that Fenix is not pleased with the public dissection of his career. His insistence on professionalism and respect could be a subtle message to fans and media to give him space as he navigates this uncertain chapter.
Meanwhile, speculation continues to grow that Fenix could eventually reunite with his brother, Penta El Zero Miedo, in WWE when his AEW deal expires. For now, though, Fenix appears focused on maintaining his dignity amid the storm of rumors.
