The Undertaker spent over 30 years in professional wrestling and became famous for his scary stare, deep voice, and intimidating presence. That being said, he has now revealed that WWE had to edit some of his promos after his Southern accent slipped out on a few occasions.
While speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker revealed that WWE sometimes had to edit his promos because his Southern accent would sneak in. Vince McMahon mentioned it a few times when he said things like yall, and his accent became noticeable.
A few times, he even had to record a voiceover to replace parts of his promo. The Deadman noted that he was usually good at keeping the accent in check, but sometimes, when he got really into it, it would slip out.
The Undertaker also revealed the origins of his iconic victory pose, which was largely thanks to Paul Bearer. The Phenom prioritized sticking to his character and never breaking kayfabe, but sometimes even the most professional wrestlers can have slip-ups and fans understand that completely.
