The December 2 episode of Monday Night Raw is already shaping up to be a must-see event, but new backstage updates are raising the stakes even higher.
According to PWInsider, fan favorite Big E is confirmed to be backstage in Everett, WA, likely to join Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in celebrating The New Days 10th anniversary. With recent tensions brewing between Kingston and Woods, Big Es presence could play a pivotal role in tonights festivities.
In addition to Big E, several other top WWE stars have been spotted near the Angel of the Winds Arena. PWInsider reports that WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Solo Sikoa, Naomi, Nia Jax, and Jimmy Uso are in the vicinity. While their roles in tonights show remain a mystery, the star-studded lineup has fans speculating about potential surprise appearances.
CM Punk will kick off Raw, marking his first in-ring promo since the explosive Survivor Series WarGames match. Adam Pearce sweetened the deal by announcing that the first 30 minutes of Raw will be commercial-free, giving Punk ample time to address the WWE Universe and potentially lay the groundwork for his next feud.
Also on the card are a triple-threat Womens Intercontinental Championship tournament match featuring Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler, and Katana Chance, as well as Pete Dunne taking on R-Truth in a grudge match that promises to deliver plenty of laughs and hard-hitting action.
