Friday Night SmackDown continues to make headlines as WWEs flagship show, drawing in a significant weekly audience with its latest episode creating lots of discussion and excitement.
According to Programming Insider, the November 29th edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw a significant decrease in viewership, attracting 1.341million viewers, as the previous weeks show received 1,578,000 million viewers. Moreover, the show achieved a 0.40 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, an increase decrease from the previous weeks 0.46.
This weeks episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw Jacob Fatu destroy Jey Uso to win the advantage for his team at Survivor Series WarGames, more competitors advanced in the Womens United States Championship tournament and more such moments happened during the show.
SmackDown had tough competition from major college football games, which likely led to the decrease in viewership. The Georgia vs. Georgia Tech game, which went into eight overtime periods, attracted 8.4 million viewers and earned a 1.87 rating in the key demographic. Meanwhile, the Nebraska vs. Iowa game on NBC drew 3.6 million viewers with a 0.73 rating in the same demographic.
