McAfee, a former NFL punter and current host of ESPNs College GameDay, had previously taken a hiatus from WWE to focus on his duties with the college football show. Before stepping away, McAfee was a key figure on WWEs SmackDown broadcast team, earning praise for his vibrant personality and passion for the sport.
Currently, RAWs commentary team includes Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett. With McAfees return on the horizon, fans are speculating how WWE will shake up its broadcast teams to accommodate his comeback. While Triple H didnt provide a specific date for McAfees return, WWE RAWs debut on Netflix on January 6, 2025, could be a fitting stage for his highly anticipated reentry.
