NETFLIX has launched the trailer for the documentary on Rafael Nadal's career. The Spanish tennis player will be the protagonist of a documentary that will soon be launched on the online platform. A great Christmas and New Year's surprise especially for the Spaniard's fans, who can't wait to watch the content made on their idol.

"He has rewritten the history of tennis so many times that it was time for him to tell his story," wrote NETFLIX in the presentation of the film.
Rafa clarified how the idea of making himself available for the creation of a documentary that would deal with and tell his story and career was born.
"I never thought I would do something like this, but I received a call from David Ellison and his words, along with the incredible project that was presented to me, convinced me. Everyone will be able to see what my life has been like during my career as a professional athlete and especially in this last year that I have had.
It will also show how life and my activity with sports have evolved over the years. I am sure that the final product, the docu-film, will be incredible and will be seen all over the world. My thanks to David Ellison and his team at Skydance for creating and believing in this project. To my family and my team for allowing the filming last year, I know it was not easy for all of us. And thanks to the tournaments around the world that made the job easier," said the Spanish champion.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion said goodbye to tennis after a season in which he wanted to retrace the most important stages of his career, especially on clay. Rafa is the only player in the history of the sport with the racket to triumph 14 times at the French Open: a true kingdom that Rafa established at Roland Garros, certainly at the center of the documentary.
"I am privileged to have received the affection of the whole world but especially of the Spanish. It is never easy to stop, I still love tennis to death but I can no longer be competitive. My body does not allow me to do so anymore. I hug my family and all my friends. During the twenty years as a professional I have always had the people I loved close to me. I did not think I could have such a successful career. My family taught me manners and helped me to always keep my feet on the ground. Of course they will remember me for the tournaments I won, but I care more about being remembered as a good person," said Nadal honestly at the 2024 editionof the Davis Cup Finals.
