Red Velvet is shooting her shot for a dream match, and shes not holding back. Fresh off her victory at ROH Final Battle, where she retained her Womens Television Championship against Leyla Hirschwith the help of a wrenchVelvet is setting her sights on a new target: AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone.
At the Final Battle post-show press conference, Velvet was asked about her next potential challenger. Her answer? She wants the best of the best. Are we staying in Ring of Honor or can I say anybody? Anybody, Velvet told reporters. TK, give me Mone. Everybody wants it. Lets go. Lets make it happen. Lets do it. Absolutely.
Red Velvet didnt stop there, doubling down on her challenge. Line them up. You know I always cook, Tony. He knows. Lets keep cooking. Lets bring them. I never turn down a challenge. Im ready for anybody and everyone, so bring them. Im ready. Im hungry, she added.
Mone has been on a roll as TBS Champion, recently defending her title on AEW Dynamite. A showdown between these two fierce competitors would undoubtedly be a match fans wont forget anytime soon.
