AEWs Death Riders faction, led by Jon Moxley, has made big promises to shake up the promotion, but not everyone is impressed.

AAA booker Konnan didnt hold back his criticism of the group on a recent episode of Keepin It 100, calling them underwhelming and claiming theyve failed to deliver on their promise to revolutionize AEW.

Ive said this a million times, bro, and its worth repeating one more time this Death Riders group is very underwhelming because they came and said, Were gonna change the company, theres gonna be a revolution. The company is the same, theyre lame it looks like a very lame group, Konnan said.

The Death Riders, formerly known as the Blackpool Combat Club, rebranded after Moxley turned on Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out. The new faction added Pac and Marina Shafir to its roster, with Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta sticking by Moxleys side. However, Konnan argued that most members dont bring enough intimidation to the table.

Very unintimidating, the only guy that comes off somewhat intimidating is Jason Statham, Moxley, right? The girl isnt intimidating, Yuta isnt intimidating, and Claudio just looks like a nice guy. Hes never really mad. He always seems like hes smiling. Very unintimidating group, Konnan added.

Despite the criticism, Moxley has remained vocal about his vision for the Death Riders, stating that he wants to bring overdue change to AEW. The faction is currently embroiled in a heated feud with Orange Cassidy, Adam Page, and Jay White, all of whom will face Moxley in a four-way match at Worlds End, AEWs final pay-per-view of 2024.

Love them or hate them, the Death Riders are at the center of AEWs chaos, but Konnans brutal honesty raises questions about their impact. With Worlds End on the horizon, all eyes are on Jon Moxley and his faction to see if they can finally back up their bold claimsor prove Konnan right.

Do you agree with Konnans take on the Death Riders, or do you think the faction has what it takes to dominate AEW? Share your thoughts below and let us know if you believe Moxleys vision can still come to life!
