Lilian Garcia has been back in the fold as the announcer for Monday Night RAW for the past couple of months, but it has not been an easy journey for Garcia. In fact, she has now revealed the various health struggles she had to deal with before eventually returning as an announcer.
Lilian Garcia posted an emotional video on Instagram, sharing her experience of overcoming vocal cord damage. She explained that the damage was caused by mold in three different homes and a gas leak, which led to severe lung inflammation and affected her voice.
At 58, Garcia encouraged people to keep chasing their dreams, no matter the challenges. She said she is very thankful to have recovered and reached this point in her life. She shared how doctors, functional medicine, and prayer helped her heal. Lilian stated that she is excited to be back in WWE and to lead worship, saying these moments mean so much to her after almost losing her voice completely.
Lilian Garcia also mentioned that she paused her Chasing Glory podcast due to issues in her crumbling marriage. Despite the challenges in her life, she is grateful to be announcing in WWE again, and thats what matters most to her right now.
