WWE legend Victoria, a cornerstone of the womens division from 2002 to 2009, recently reconnected with the company through a Legends deal. However, despite SmackDown heading to her hometown of San Diego on January 17, the former Womens Champion made it clear shes not asking for tickets.
During a live signing on Whatnot, Victoria opened up about the upcoming SmackDown event and her approach to attending WWE shows. She emphasized that while she cherishes her connection to WWE, she avoids requesting free ticketseven for WrestleMania.
See, the thing with me when I go to the shows, I dont ask for free tickets, Victoria explained. I like to support the product but, Im not one to bug and go, Hey, can I come to the show? I think someone said, Hey, do you get free tickets on WrestleMania? I go, Absolutely not. Are you kidding me? I wouldnt even ask. Id be embarrassed.
Victoria expressed gratitude for her Legends contract, which allows her to use the WWE logo and her iconic Victoria persona in promotions. I was so excited about getting the Nostalgic Legends contract, she added. Now, I can use the WWE logo, I can use Victoria on my (advertisements), which is incredible. Thats my home, and Im just very proud to be a part of the company still.
Victoria last competed in WWE during the 2021 Womens Royal Rumble match. With fellow legends like Rob Van Dam making appearances on WWE programming, fans are hopeful shell follow suit. While she hasnt confirmed an appearance on the January 17 edition of SmackDown, her involvement would undoubtedly thrill longtime fans.
