Andy Roddick thinks Karolina Muchova is absolutely one of the best in the game when healthy and would not be surprised if the world No. 22 landed her maiden Grand Slam title this season.

Shortly after reaching the Australian Open semifinal in 2021, the Czech sustained a serious back injury and it took her quite some time to recover.
In mid-2023, Muchova started rediscovering her best tennis and that's when she made the French Open final - in which she was two games away from upsetting Iga Swiatek - and also reached the US Open semifinal that year.
But then, a serious wrist injury occurred and she didn't play for 10 months before returning to action last June.
However, being sidelined for an extended period didn't prevent the 27-year-old from making another US Open semifinal.
Roddick: Muchova could win a Major in 2025
Muchova, currently ranked 22, she is an amazing player. The only thing separating her from the top five is health and she can bother everyone. She would be on my top five list of people who could win a Slam next year, she could win a Major," the American tennis legend said on the Served with Andy Roddick.

Very early in her post-surgery comeback, the former world No. 8 started making great results as she finished as runner-up in Palermo in her third tournament back.
Then, she was a US Open semifinalist before falling just short of winning the WTA 1000 tournament in Beijing after losing to Coco Gauff in the final.
In her last tournament played, she made the semifinal at the WTA 500 tournament in Ningbo.
On Sunday, Muchova kicked off her 2025 season with a 6-2 6-2 victory over Malene Helgo at the United Cup.
On Wednesday, she faces Iga Swiatek in what will be a rematch of the 2023 French Open final.
Considering how well Muchova has played over the last few months, there is no doubt that she could be a major threat at the Australian Open.
