Adam Copeland already had a few friends in AEW before he inked a deal with Tony Khan. He wanted to do things with Christian Cage, but FTR was also a big reason for him to sign with the company. It turns out that Rated FTR was something that they had their eye on for a while.
At AEW Worlds End, Adam Copeland returned and joined FTR. He did so to collide with Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta of the Death Riders. Copeland, Harwood, and Wheeler are going by the team name Rated FTR, and they are set to face Moxley, Castagnoli, and Yuta at AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen.
In an interview with WrestleZone, Dax Harwood was asked if FTR and Adam Copeland were planning ahead for their future or waiting to see the outcome of AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen.
Adam Copeland was actually cleared to return from his injury a month before Worlds End, but AEW held off on his big return until the final pay-per-view of the year. Now we will have to see what Rated FTR has in store for fans.
FTR and Adam Copeland have their eyes on the AEW Trios Titles, but a lot more could happen. After all, Copeland still has unfinished business with Christian Cage, who is still proclaiming himself as the next AEW World Champion, thanks to that guaranteed title match he holds in his briefcase.
