John Cenas retirement tour is set to begin in a matter of days and he already has several dates lined up for his tour, which will end in December 2025. Many of his former opponents have already talked about his tour and now Adam Copeland has revealed an interesting detail about their last conversation.
While speaking to Screen Rant, Adam Copeland was asked if he had spoken to Cena about retiring, especially since Copeland had already gone through it and Cena is preparing for his farewell tour.
Copeland shared that he and Cena didnt discuss retirement, but they did have a brief conversation when Cena returned to WWE while Copeland was still there. He mentioned that Cena was surprised by how Copeland was still competing in half-hour matches.
Copeland mentioned that Cena is a very thoughtful and intelligent person who has likely considered every possible scenario, so he is probably already at peace with the idea. Copeland also noted that while Cena might have come to terms with it, it will likely be harder for the fans to accept, which tends to be the case with big departures.
The Leader of Cenation is set to appear on the debut episode of RAW on Netflix and kick off his retirement tour, but he will not be competing during the show. Regardless, well have to see how WWE will book Cenas retirement tour as it will truly be the end of an era once he retires this year.
