Ric Flairs vast knowledge and experience in professional wrestling simply cannot be understated. He has achieved nearly every milestone a wrestler could dream of in the business, making it clear he is one of the greatest in the history of the sport. Thats why his advice is incredibly valuable, but he has now revealed why he doesnt give advice to younger wrestlers anymore.
While speaking toThe Five Star podcast, The Nature Boywas asked what kind of advice he gives to younger professional wrestlers now. Ric Flair revealed that he actually doesnt give advice to younger wrestlers anymore because they seem to trust what they read online more than what experienced wrestlers like him have to say.
The Nature Boy stated that when young wrestlers ask for advice, they often ignore it and ask others with less experience instead. Flair used to enjoy giving advice, but now he feels like it wont be taken seriously, so hes stopped offering it.
Flairs frustration comes from the rising trend of wrestlers seeking validation from less experienced voices or online platforms, instead of learning from the seasoned wisdom of veterans who actually know what they are talking about. Therefore, its not hard to see why the WWE Hall of Famer simply sees no reason to give advice to younger talent anymore.
