The WWE Royal Rumble is reportedly set to make its way to Saudi Arabia in 2026, marking a major international milestone for the company.
According to PWInsider, the deal has already been finalized, with an official announcement expected as early as this Monday during the Netflix premiere of Raw.
This move comes as part of WWEs ongoing 10-year partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a collaboration scheduled to run through 2028. Since the agreement began, WWE has hosted 12 premium live events and two television tapings in the region, alongside the creation of the WWE Experience, a themed attraction. The partnership has proven to be a financial powerhouse, with WWE reportedly earning $50 million per event, according to SES reports.
Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, recently expressed interest in expanding the deal further. Speaking to ESPN, Al-Sheikh revealed aspirations to host more marquee events, including WrestleMania or the Royal Rumble. If the 2026 Royal Rumble comes to fruition in Saudi Arabia, it will be a massive step forward in realizing those ambitions.
For now, fans can look forward to the 2025 Royal Rumble, scheduled for Saturday, February 1, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. But the prospect of taking the iconic event to Saudi Arabia adds a whole new layer of intrigue to WWEs global reach.
