Wrestle Kingdom 19 was truly a night of memorable matches and this included Shingo Takagi and Konosuke Takeshita facing off against each other, where the NEVER Openweight Title as well as AEW International Championships were on the line, so a lot was at stake.

Konosuke Takeshita gained the upper hand early in the match, delivering the Takeshita Line after an impressive sequence with Takagi. However, Takagi easily took back the match and dominated Takeshita.

The match featured quite a few solid spots, including a solid superplex from Takagi, a lot of hard-hitting shots to each other and more. After gaining the advantage, Takashi proclaimed that it was his time to become a dual champion.

The two had a brilliant sequence comprising German suplexes, Exploder suplexes and more but Takeshita finally gained momentum after winning the sequence. Fans were simply amazed to see such an evenly contested match where it could have gone either way as they continued nailing elbow shots at each other.
