WrestleMania season is nearing, and WWEs creative team is already shaping plans for WrestleMania 41.

Triple H recently shared during an appearance on the SI Media podcast with Jimmy Traina that while the main event for the 2025 spectacle is penciled in, everything remains subject to change.

Yes, with an asterisk, Triple H said when asked if the main event is set. I cannot tell you what happens between today and Las Vegas. People get hurt, you get a phone call, Have you ever considered doing this with me? Oh, thats an amazing opportunity. Maybe we go in a different direction. Sometimes you start to go down the road with a storyline and its not resonating the way I thought it would, maybe this would be bigger.'

He acknowledged the challenges of sticking to long-term plans in wrestling. We had a card for WrestleMania loosely written out in October, and thats morphed a lot. Were sort of sitting down on a regular basis, weekly, and talking about what do we believe the shift is. Where do we see the shift happening and what do we need to move around? Can I say I have something penciled in? Yes. Do I think it will stay? I think, but Im not sure, he explained.

While Triple H didnt reveal any specific plans, rumors backstage suggest that two blockbuster matches could be headlining WrestleMania 41: Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk and Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena.

The potential clash between Reigns and Punk would revisit their storied history, including their infamous 2014 encounter where Punk was instructed to make Roman look strong. Meanwhile, Cena vs. Rhodes represents a generational showdown, with the added stakes of Cenas rumored retirement tour and Rhodes quest for the ultimate WWE championship victory.

However, nothing is set in stone, as WWEs creative plans could shift if The Rock decides to return to the ring. A Rock comeback could alter the entire WrestleMania card, reshuffling these rumored matchups to accommodate one of wrestlings biggest names.

WrestleMania 40 delivered unforgettable moments, including The Rock and Roman Reigns teaming up on night one and Reigns defending his title against Cody Rhodes on night two. With WrestleMania 41 set for Las Vegas, fans are eager to see what WWE has planned, even if those plans remain fluid.

Triple Hs approach to WrestleMania planning reflects the unpredictable nature of WWE, where injuries, opportunities, and fan reactions can shift the landscape at any moment. While the main event for WrestleMania 41 may be penciled in, nothing is set in stone, keeping fans guessing about what surprises could unfold on the grandest stage of them all. Stay tuned, because anything can happen on the road to WrestleMania!
