The General Entertainment Authority, led by HE Turki Alalshikh, expressed excitement about bringing such a prestigious event to Saudi Arabia. He noted that hosting the Royal Rumble is part of the countrys commitment to delivering major global entertainment events and enhancing the local entertainment sector. This event will be included in the activities of Riyadh Season, offering a unique experience for fans worldwide.
WWE President Nick Khan also emphasized that hosting the Royal Rumble in Riyadh fits perfectly with WWEs strategy to expand its relationship with Saudi Arabia, following the success of previous events in the Kingdom like Crown Jewel, Elimination Chamber, and Night of Champions. He added that the event will be held in January 2026 but as noted already, no date was confirmed.
For now, fans can look forward to the 2025 Royal Rumble, which is set for Saturday, February 1, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. However, in 2026, WWE fans will have the opportunity to experience the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, as the company continues its path of global expansion.
