And as soon as the handshake was over, the 31-year-old made a face that clearly showed that she wasn't that thrilled to see the five-time Grand Slam champion.

The reaction was quickly noticed by fans and it started making rounds on social media.

Collins received a certain criticism as some fans felt it was disrespectful.

However, the world No. 11 doesn't appear to have any regrets about her move.

Collins calledSwiatek'insincere' aftertheir Paris Olympics match

After retiring injured in the third set of their Olympics quarterfinal, the Americanripped the 23-year-old as "insincere."

Theres a lot that happens off-camera, and there are a lot of people with a ton of charisma who come out and act one way on camera and another way in the locker room. I just havent had the best experience, and I dont really feel like anybody needs to be insincere. They can be the way they are. I can accept that, but I dont need the fakeness, Collins said in her post-match presser at the time.

Some strong words were sent Swiatek's way that day but she tired to de-escalate it.

I think it's better to ask her. I would rather not get into these because that's her last year on tour. I haven't had a chance actually to tell her that, you know, she had a great journey and she really played well," the Pole said when asked what was her reaction to the American's comments.
