It has been announced that the women of AEW will be getting a Casino Gauntlet Match where the winner will challenge the AEW Womens World Champion at Grand Slam Australia in February. The current champion is Mariah May.
May has been asking for someone to step up to face her, and this will be a way to give that one woman a chance.
This is the first-ever womens Casino Gauntlet match. They have had previous Casino Battle Royales. Those had been won by Nyla Rose in 2019 and Ruby Soho in 2021.
