The 2021 US Open champion wants to achieve big results this season and has worked hard during the pre-season to be in top shape. Emma showed signs of growth in 2024 after a couple of very tough seasons, in which she had struggled physically and in which she had changed several members of her team without ever finding the necessary consistency.

The current world number 57 won 21 matches and suffered 13 losses last year, defeating some very dangerous players and proving that she has the right skills to be a top player on the WTA tour.

Emma is very motivated

If she is in top shape, Raducanu could be the real surprise of the first Major tournament of the new season. Emma's life and career have changed profoundly since her shocking triumph in New York three years ago and it has taken a long time to get used to the pressure, but the worst seems to be over for her.

In a recent interview with 'Betway', well-known analyst Mark Petchey analyzed Raducanu's chances in 2025: Shes had to deal with so much which must be incredibly hard for a youngster who is on the cover of every magazine and everybodys favourite tennis player after the US Open. Obviously when things dont go from strength to strength, attitudes of some people change.

Shes already getting called a one-Slam wonder like shes never going to win one again, and that must be incredibly difficult to deal with. People love to take pot shots at her but theres a lot more to her than just being a tennis player.

There is so much more to her personality, and she has so many other interests which people dont realise.

Shes not arrogant, but youve got to be confident. Youve got to believe in yourself to exist and survive. Let alone thrive.
