Novak Djokovic will have to overcome his own limits if he wants to win the 25th Grand Slam title of his legendary career. The Serbian player will try to achieve this feat as early as the 2025 Australian Open, in the hope that this tournament will bring him the same luck as in the past.

The former world No.1 will have less pressure than usual, as he will not be the main favorite to lift the trophy on Sunday, January 26. The 37-year-old from Belgrade starts behind Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, but has no intention of settling for a secondary role this year.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion is convinced that he can still be competitive at the highest level and the Australian Open is one of his favorite tournaments, in which he has won ten times and in which he has achieved some of the greatest feats of his career.
An additional motivation
No player has won a Major title at Nole's age, which is why the Serbian ace is even more motivated to break yet another record. Novak has prepared very well during the pre-season and the advice of a legend like Andy Murray can be very useful to him if he arrives in the decisive stages of the tournament.

The collaboration between Andy and Nole seems to work very well, since they know each other perfectly both on and off the court and respect each other.
On the latest edition of his podcast, ATP legend Jimmy Connors revealed how many chances Djokovic has of winning the AO: Everybody is almost pushing Djokovic aside at the minute. Its Alcaraz and Sinner. Maybe they are looking at some of these other young guys. I dont know if I am ready to toss him to one side yet.
Obviously he feels comfortable down there and if he goes in and feels that his game is in order and hes ready to play physically and mentally I am not ready to toss him to one side just yet.
I think a lot of guys are saying hes 37 and his time is over. Someone along the line there is someone in there saying you have one more in you. I know that feeling.
