WWE Friday Night SmackDown will take place at Pechanga Arena in San Diego on January 17, 2025. This should be a good follow-up to their massive January 10 episode.
WWE set the stage for a few big matches, and they announced a couple of them before the three-hour broadcast was over. The blue brand will also see the return of an absent star who has been off television licking his wounds after suffering defeat.
Bayley will get a shot at Tiffany Strattons WWE Womens Title on SmackDown next week. She earned that shot after winning a big four-way match against Nia Jax, Naomi, and Bianca Belair.
Motor City Machine Guns will face Los Garzas next week on SmackDown as well. Both teams picked up wins this week on SmackDown, so that should be a good match in the tag team division.
Solo Sikoa will also make his return to SmackDown next week. This will mark his return to television after he lost to Roman Reigns during the big January 6 Netflix debut.
