He added that reinstating McMahon in any capacity involving talent would be a massive hurdle. I dont think theyll ever bring him back in a situation like that. It would be really, really hard to bring him back in any situation where he has to deal with women talent. I just dont think you can, Meltzer noted, referencing McMahons history of allegations, including those involving former WWE employees.
Meltzer also touched on McMahons influence behind the scenes, suggesting he could still impact certain decisions indirectly. Will he have influence through certain people in some talent stuff? Yeah, because people would ask for his advice no matter what because hes Vince. Major influence? No.
But perhaps the biggest obstacle to McMahons return lies outside the ringwith WWEs corporate sponsors. Its not just about the fans; its about the sponsors, Meltzer explained. If they bring him back and some sponsors say, You know what? We cant deal with this, then it becomes an issue. For instance, if Slim Jim or another sponsor were to say, No, no, no, you promised he was gone.
