Scott Steiner has wrestled all over the world during his career, but it took a toll on his body. Fans know he has dealt with drop foot for a long time, and he has now revealed that he is still struggling with the condition.
While speaking toBusted Open Radio, Scott Steiner revealed that he is still dealing with drop foot, a condition hes had for over 20 years. Looking back at his WWE career, he admitted it was tough because the drop foot made everything harder. He had to wear a brace, almost like a cast, to support his foot, but it didnt completely solve the problem.
Steiner said his performances were better in TNA because the condition was more stable then. Even though his foot wasnt fully fixed, it didnt flop around as much. He explained that his foot used to flop uncontrollably, and even now, he trips at least twice a day because it doesnt lift properly. He wished he didnt have to wrestle with drop foot in WWE but has learned to accept it.
When asked how hes doing now, Steiner said the drop foot is still there, and he cant feel anything in the area. After surgery to move a tendon from the side of his ankle to the front, things improved a little. His foot is more stable and doesnt flop like it used to, but he still cant fully lift it. Despite these struggles, hes found ways to live with it.
Scott Steiners determination to keep performing despite his struggles with drop foot shows his dedication to wrestling. Though the condition has impacted his career, Steiner has adapted and continues to inspire fans, but we do hope he will eventually fully heal from this condition once and for all.
