Jordan Spieth is likely to return to the Pebble Beach Pro Am after recovering from wrist surgery. The popular golfer was tired of the injury that was causing him enormous problems. The best option was surgery, and the 31-year-old decided to take that step.

Spieth did not excel last year, which was to be expected after all.
In December of last year, the American golfer confirmed that he is feeling well and that he is ready to return to golf courses. Jordan also shared that surgery was an important factor for some other reasons as well.
I had some really bad habits for a long time. Whether it was something that would have happened anyway or whether anything in my wrist was causing me to not be able to get into certain positions, I dont have that issue now.- he said, as quoted by Golf Monthly.
It is difficult to expect that Spieth will immediately excel and win tournaments upon his return. Of course, it is difficult to make predictions about what the next weeks will look like for him, but it is certain that he will need a certain period in order to find himself in competitive shape.

The 31-year-old stressed that he did not want to put pressure on himself, aware that with such a mindset he could sink even more. Knowing him and his qualities, we have no doubt that this Ryder Cup player can provide the best in the coming months.
I think Im trying to look big picture, he said. I dont want to put too much pressure on a hot start. I just want to get back into a rhythm. This is by far the longest Ive gone between tournament rounds.
Regardless, Spieth is convinced that he is one of the best in the world, and he wants to show it.
I want to feel like I step on the tee and I know Im one of the best golfers in the world - I have no doubts about that when I step on the tee."
