Despite this, Alexander praised WrestlePrestige for having a wild card planned and for being one of the best promotions in the world.
Last year, Josh Alexander had stated that he would be cleaning up his remaining dates on the independent circuit and then bid goodbye to the circuit for the foreseeable future, which made it evident he was going to eventually join a major company.
