AEW brought the biggest show that they could for their January 11 episode of the show. Next weeks show in Cincinnati, Ohio will be quite an event for Maximum Carnage.
During the January 18 episode of AEW Collision, Hangman Page cut a promo directed at Christopher Daniels. Hangman said that he humored him for a while, but he took it too far by laying hands on him.
Then the challenge was made for Maximum Carnage, as Hangman Page will take on Christopher Daniels in a Texas Deathmatch. This will be a big match in the Buckeye State, because Hangman Page has made it clear that he will tear Christopher Daniels apart.
In case you need a reminder, a Texas Death Match is similar to a Last Man Standing Match, with one key difference. In a Texas Deathmatch, an opponent must first be pinned, after which a 10-count begins. If the pinned participant fails to stand by the count of 10, they lose the match.
We will have to see how this match turns out. Historically, the Texas Deathmatch can be quite a brutal contest. Obviously, there can always be blood on AEW programming.
