The Big Ten has announced a player to watch for each team for the 2025 dual season, and that's the big news heading into the new year of college tennis.

Anthrop is fresh off his sophomore season, winning 41 singles matches and earning his first All-America honors. His 41 wins tied for the 5th most in a single season in program history. After a solid fall season in which he was a singles semifinalist at both the ITA Midwest Regional and the ITA Fall National Championship, the Buckeyes student-athlete didn't lose a singles match in the dual season until the NCAA Tournament in May.

In doubles, he went on a winning streak during the team portion of the NCAA Tournament with Cannon Kingsley, going 4-0 to earn All-Tournament team honors at No. 3 in doubles.

As a freshman in 2022-23, he lost just one singles match over the final four months of the season and was named to the NCAA All-Tournament team at No. 6 in singles.

The Orlando, Florida native has a combined career record of 87-19 and will once again be a fixture in the Buckeyes lineup this season.
