Two late goals saw Brentford snatch a 2-2 draw against Manchester City on Tuesday.
A profligate first half saw both sides create a handful of smart opportunities. City's positional dominance looked to be back as they managed 20 touches inside the Brentford box, but they could only translate that into two shots on target before the interval.
Savinho hit the post five minutes after the restart and Erling Haaland should have opened the scoring with a heading soon after but, after Mikkel Damsgaard saw a strike ruled out for offside, City got the lead they deserved when Phil Foden pulled out a delightful volley to convert from Kevin De Bruyne's whipped cross.
Nathan Ake cleared off the line to preserve City's lead, which was doubled with 12 minutes to go as Foden crashed home a rebounded strike to give Pep Guardiola's side a lead which felt insurmountable.
Brentford refused to lie down, however. With 82 minutes on the clock, Yoane Wissa pulled one back for the hosts, before Christian Norgaard headed home a stoppage-time equaliser.
The Bees even thought they had won it in the 95th minute, only for Ake to clear yet another strike off the line to save a point for a shell-shocked City.
