Since joining AEW in October 2022, Renee Paquette has worn many hats, primarily as an interviewer and host. But could a return to the commentary desk be in her future?
During an appearance on Cincy 360 with Tony Pike, Paquette shared her thoughts on stepping back into the commentary role, something she hasnt done since her WWE days.
Sometimes, I think about it. There are aspects that I miss, Paquette admitted. Obviously, this is a far different circumstance with AEW versus what I had done previously. I think about it, sometimes. I love getting to do the interviews and I love getting to do the long-form interviews or the exclusive sitdowns. I love getting to do that. Every now and then, Im listening, and I get a little bit of the itch. A little bit. Well see.
Paquettes time as part of WWE Raws commentary team with Michael Cole and Corey Graves wasnt without its challenges, but shes thrived in her AEW role, hosting interviews and her Close Up series on the AEW YouTube channel. Fans have praised her ability to connect with talent and deliver memorable moments, but her comments suggest she hasnt entirely ruled out returning to commentary.
Renee Paquette might just have the commentary itch again, and fans are already speculating if shell make the leap in AEW. Whether shes behind the desk or conducting interviews, Paquette continues to prove shes one of the most versatile talents in wrestling.
