AEW made a big change with its new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery as Dynamite can be watched on both TBS and the Max streaming app, while AEW Collision is on TNT and Max at the same time. This is a new step for AEW, which used to only air on regular TV since starting in 2019 and Tony Khan is definitely happy about it already.
While speaking on theBattleground Podcast, Tony Khan talked about AEWs move to simulcasting on Max. He stated that the move has been great, with fans loving the shows on Max.
Dynamite is still live on TBS every Wednesday, and Collision airs on TNT every Saturday night, but now both are also available to stream on Max. Khan said it took a lot of work to set up, but its been worth it because the shows look amazing, and fans are happy with the new options.
AEW was also internally pleased with their overhaul in production for the recent episode of Dynamite. AEWs deal with Warner Bros. Discovery and the Max streaming platform shows their focus on growing and adapting. By using streaming alongside traditional TV, AEW can connect with new audiences while keeping their loyal fans happy and clearly, this is what Tony Khan had intended from the very beginning.
