Iga Swiatek made a comment that she probably regrets now as the Australian Open crowd treated her with loud boos after she stated that Sydney has better coffee shops than Melbourne.

Off the court, the Polish tennis star loves to relax by drinking some coffee and reading books.
Meanwhile, Melbourne's coffee spots are widely regarded as one of the best in the world.
So after Swiatek demolished Rebecca Sramkova 6-0 6-2 in the Australian Open second round, on-court interviewer Jelena Dokic asked the Pole to rate Melbourne's coffee.
"How does the coffee in Melbourne compare to the rest of the world?" Dokic asked.
"Well I got to say in Sydney I found better coffee shops," the 23-year-old said while laughing.
And that's when the crowd instantly reacted.
The five-time Grand Slam winner tried to backtrack on her statement.

"No guys, the thing is, it's not easy to fall asleep during a grand slam so my coffee needs to be lower, so I didn't do the right research... Sorry for my answer," she said.
Swiatek thrilled with her play on Thursday
The No. 2 seed made a lightning start to her second-round match, winning the opening seven games for a dominant 6-0 1-0 lead.
While Sramkova managed to stabilize a bit from that moment and have the second set tied to two games apiece, the Pole remained unfazed and claimed the following four games to complete her victory in an hour of play.

"I felt really solid today, it was a really efficient game," Swiatek said.
In her next match, the former world No. 1 plays against Emma Raducanu.
Going into the match, Swiatek has a 3-0 head-to-head record and has yet to lose a set in matches against the 2021 US Open champion.
