World no. 1 Jannik Sinner will split with Darren Cahill at the end of 2025! The news surfaced after the Italian's second-round victory at the Australian Open and did not come as a major surprise. Cahill announced his intention to end his coaching career with Jannik.

The Aussie wants to reduce his traveling and spend more time with family after playing and coaching for decades. AlongsideSimone Vagnozzi, Cahill led Sinner to the pinnacle of men's tennis, claiming two Major titles in 2024 and hoping for more intheir final season.
Jannik split with his long-term coach, Riccardo Piatti, in February 2022. The Italian added Vagnozzi to his coaching staff and appointed Cahill as another coach during the grass-court season in June. The trio clicked right from the start.
Sinner reached the Wimbledon quarter-final and lifted a trophy in Umag over Carlos Alcaraz. The young gun reached the US Open quarter-final and missed his chance to topple Alcaraz again. Jannik wrapped up the season in the top-15 and gained a boost ahead of 2023.
Vagnozzi and Cahill kept working on improving various elements of the Italian's game, and he became one of the world's best players in the second part of 2023! Sinner reached the Wimbledon semi-final before liftinghis first Masters 1000 trophy in Canada.

The young gun claimed more trophies in Beijing and Vienna, climbing through the ATP ranking list and entering the ATP Finals in Turin. Jannik scored his first victory over Novak Djokovic in the round-robin stage before falling to the Serb in the title clash.
The Italian served revenge at the Davis Cup Finals, saving three match points against the Serb and leading his country toward the title. Jannik wrapped up the year as world no. 4 and excelled his game to a higher level in 2024!
Sinner embraced a 73-6 run last season, lifting eight ATP trophies and defending the Davis Cup crown for Italy. The Italian's incredible consistency left everyone behind, reaching 15 quarter-finals from as many tournaments! Also, he conquered six notable titles and wrote history books.
