Matt Cardona still doesnt know who hes stepping into the ring with at The People vs. GCW, but if it were up to him, hed be squaring off against none other than John Cena.
On The Ariel Helwani Show, Cardona opened up about the uncertainty surrounding his open challenge match, revealing that multiple planned opponents have fallen through for various reasons. While he has no clue who hell actually be facing, he threw out a dream opponent just for fun.
Cardona also revealed that Ricky Starks was originally lined up for the match but was later pulled. While he didnt go into detail, he acknowledged reading the rumors about Starks situation and confirmed hes officially out.
With no confirmed opponent and plenty of speculation, all eyes are on The People vs. GCW to see who steps up to challenge the self-proclaimed Indy God.
