Tessa Blanchards return to TNA has been nothing short of explosive, but Jordynne Grace isnt letting her forget the past. After blindsiding Grace at TNA Final Resolution and continuing the assault on TNA iMPACT! this week, Blanchard seemed all set for a showdown at TNA Genesisbut Grace just threw a wrench in the plans.
During the January 16 episode of TNA iMPACT!, Grace walked up to the announcers desk and dropped a bombshell: Tessa hasnt signed the contract for their upcoming match at Genesis. And in true Jordynne Grace fashion, she didnt miss an opportunity to remind the world of Blanchards history of disappearing acts.
If she doesnt show up at Genesis, it wouldnt be the first time! Grace declared, throwing shade at Blanchards infamous exit in 2020 when she refused to fulfill her TNA contract and was stripped of the TNA World Championship.
Blanchards past with TNA is nothing short of messy. After becoming the first woman to win the companys world title, she ghosted TNA officials during the pandemic, refusing to send in promos or return to drop the championship. This led to her contract termination and a wave of controversy that followed her throughout the industry.
Now, with TNA welcoming her back, all eyes are on Blanchardwill she show up and fight, or will history repeat itself?
