Jeff Hardys legendary career has made him one of the most recognizable names in professional wrestling, but dont expect his kids to follow in his high-flying footsteps.
While speaking with Chris Van Vliet, the former WWE Champion opened up about his daughters potential future in wrestlingor lack thereof.
However, Hardy quickly realized his dream of seeing his daughters carry on the family legacy wasnt going to happen. They dont have any interest in it whatsoever, he admitted.
Despite their lack of enthusiasm, Hardy hasnt entirely ruled out training them if they ever change their minds. Even my oldest daughter, Ruby, shes so creative and beautiful and grown up. Shes mentioned maybe wanting to get in the ring and try some stuff, he said. If she ever gets serious about it, of courseher and my youngest daughter would probably be the only people Id ever train. I say that now, but Id just want to share some secrets that helped me along the way.
For now, though, Hardy says the idea of the Hardy Girls carrying on his legacy in the ring is unlikely. Everything now, it doesnt seem like the Hardy girls are going to be a thing in the pro wrestling future.
Jeff Hardys in-ring style inspired an entire generation, but his daughters are carving their own path outside of wrestling. What do you think about his kids deciding not to step into the squared circle? Would you have wanted to see the next generation of Hardys in WWE or AEW? Let us know in the comments!
