Keegan Bradley hasn't won a Major title in a long time, since 2011, but regardless, this experienced golfer is not giving up on his intentions. The 38-year-old believes that 2025 could represent a new chapter in his career, wanting to conquer the competition around him.
The American, regardless of the absence of the Major in recent years, played brilliantly in a large number of tournaments, and as a reward for his dedication and performances, Bradley became the captain of the US Ryder Cup team.
Before another appearance, the US golfer revealed that being a captain and a player are two completely different things.
"I haven't won a major in almost 15 years. I want to contend in majors; that's number one on my list," Bradey said, as quoted by Express.
"I've won three years in a row. I'd like to make that four years in a row.
But I really want to be looked at as one of the best players in the world. Me being the Ryder Cup captain doesn't have anything to do with that."
Keegan Bradley doesn't want to suddenly disappear
Looking back at golf over the years, we have witnessed many golfers who for a few seasons or at certain moments seemed like they could be at the very top of the sport, only to fall off the face of the earth shortly after.
Keegan has been on the golf scene for years, but he seems to have a bit of a fear of becoming an 'insignificant' figure in the sport. He wants to compete alongside the best golfers.
"I don't want to be one of the guys that kind of disappears. I would love to be up in a category with the best players. I hope I don't disappear. I don't plan to."- Bradley said.
The 38-year-old is determined to succeed in 2025, but he will have a tough task ahead, especially when we know that the PGA Tour has more and more quality golfers every year.
