The season is only three weeks old, and Carlos Alcaraz is already playing the most important tournament of 2025! The young Spaniard is chasing the missing Major crown at the Australian Open and a Career Grand Slam at 21!

Alcaraz reached the quarter-final in Melbourne a year agoand wants to go three steps later next week. However, Carlos does not want to mirror Jim Courier's 1993 celebration if he liftsthe crown. The American claimed the Australian Open 22 years ago and jumped into the Yarra River!

Alcaraz is not ready to do something similar, leaving that celebration to the former world no. 1. The Spaniard will add a kangaroo tattoo if he completes the Major titles, fencing it more than jumping into the river.

Carlos lost one set in three encounters in Melbourne, moving into the last 16 and arranging the clash against his good friend, Jack Draper. World no. 3 started his fourth Australian Open campaign against Alexander Shevchenko.

"I think I'm going to let Jim with that crazy thing. The tattoo is more than enough for me. I think at that time, in 1993, the people were a little bit crazier, I guess. But I'm not going to jump into the Yarra River, no," Carlos Alcaraz said.
