WWE brought a big three-hour SmackDown to the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California for their January 17 episode. That night included some key moments, including Solo Sikoas return to television.
Fans hadnt seen Solo Sikoa since he lost to Roman Reigns in a Tribal Combat match during the January 6 WWE RAW debut on Netflix. He wasnt around last week, but his Bloodline certainly was. Now, he is getting back to business on the blue brand.
Solo Sikoa made his return to SmackDown as the show kicked off its second hour. Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga joined Solo in the ring as fans booed him out of the building in San Diego as they didnt even let him speak.
Finally, Solo Sikoa threw down the microphone and he walked off through the crowd. This was quite an appearance for Sikoa, as he wasnt even able to say one word. Solo left as Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga remained silent, and looking on, while standing in the ring.
As Solo Sikoa left, the fans sang the Na na na na na na goodbye song at him. Then Jacob Fatu picked up the microphone to say that he was tired of the disrespect, hatred, and envy. He then said that even on a bad day, nobody can touch him. He doesnt care if fans cheer or boo them, but they still demand respect.
Then Jacob Fatu announced that hes only getting started. At that point, LA Knight jumped in the ring and took both members of the New Bloodline on. This was retribution for them jumping him last week on the January 10 episode of SmackDown. Braun Strowman came out to help, and he squared off against Jacob Fatu, but then the New Bloodline member slid out of the ring instead of battling the Monster Among Monsters.
