The launch of Greenland's new home kit by hummel caused such a stir that the striking red jersey heavily influenced by the island nations heritage quickly sold out.
Another run is in production, but now also comes a stunning away shirt born from the landscape and harsh environment it seeks to represent.
The icy blue shirt is inspired by the Greenland Ice Sheet, which covers 80% of the land mass and is the second largest body of ice in the world behind only that in Antarctica.
The enduring strength of the ice is a major theme within the launch, tied to the unbreakable force that is the Greenland national spirit.
"It's part of who we are as a people: steadfast, resilient, and with hearts deeply rooted in our land and cultural heritage," said Kenneth Kleist, chairman of Greenland's football federation (KAK).
"The new away kit captures that strength and unity, serving as a reminder of the pride we carry both as individuals and as a team. Whether it's the roar of the crowd in the stadium or the silence of the glaciers, our pride remains unbreakable."
Greenland itself, its heritage and values, played a huge part in what hummel produced for the home shirt and that attention to detail has gone into creating a remarkable away jersey as well. The design is influenced by intricate natural patterns shaped by the ice, with textured graphics celebrating the power of the ice and details on the sleeves paying homage to traditional Greenlandic clothing.
"The Ice Sheet stands as a reminder of the strength and patience it takes to endure in one of the worlds harshest environment," Morten Lund, marketing director at hummel explained.
"Our goal was to capture that story in a design that resonates with both the team and the people of Greenland. Its a symbol of unity both with each other and with the land that shapes them, and we hope the players will wear it with pride."
