The Australian Open crowd made sure to let Danielle Collins that they haven't forgotten what happened two days earlier as they treated the American with a round of loud boos as soon as she came out on Rod Laver Arena for her third-round match.

On Thursday, the American overcame Australian qualifier Destanee Aiava in three sets.
But one of the main stories of that match was the world No. 11 and the spectators going back and forth.
And as soon as she clinched the win, Collins placed hand on her ear - gestured them to send some boos - blew them a kiss - and then taunted them.
First, in her on-court interview, she said: "I was thinking through the match, I might as well just take that big fat pay cheque.
"Coco and I, we love a good five-star vacation so part of that cheque will go towards that so thank you. Thank you for coming out here and supporting us tonight.
"Thanks everyone ... thanks guys, love you."
While the 31-year-old was making these comments, the crowd heavily booed.

She continued her taunt in the presser, stating that those same hecklers were paying her bills.

While being booed, the 2022 Australian Open runner-up smiled - which was a clear message that she was embracing it.
"She got booed quite loudly but I think if anything that's going to spur her on even more," Eurosport's Laura Robson said on air.

"Danielle loves it. I think she almost pre-empted it and gave it one of the 'get louder' motions as she came out."
The match is currently underway - and as of writing - the world No. 11 is currently down by a break as Madison Keys leads 5-3.
