Former WWF Womens Champion and Hall of Famer Jacqueline signed a WWE legends contract in September. This followed on the heels of Victoria doing the same.
While speaking with Ring the Belle, Jacqueline spoke on the feeling she had when given this opportunity and in the process becoming the first Black woman to do so.
They signed me to a Legends contract, and Im so happy and so honored. That made me feel really great, that made me feel good. So hey, who knows what can happen? You never say never, right? You never say never, she said. (Fightful)
The former two-time champ was referring to getting back in the ring when using that age old saying of never say never.
She continued, Ive never, like, put on social media, Im retired, [Ive had] my last match, and all that. I dont do all that. But, like I said, never say never, because I got a Legends contract, so hopefully they can come out with action figures, put me in a video game or something, make appearances, signings, or something, Id be happy to do that.
When asked about a match with Bianca Belair, she stated You never know.
Jacqueline also discussed what it meant to her to become the first-ever Black womens champion in WWE.
Yes, but not only that, I made history. I was the first African-American women champion of WWF. So yeah, that was a special moment.
I mean, it was a special moment. I was very happy. I was very delighted. It meant a lot. It was a very moment. I will never forget that.
