Being an influencer has huge benefits for an individual. However, what people don't know is that influencers have a lot of problems outside of the social media world. Namely, influencers usually suffer a lot of criticism, they are often the target of various content on social media, but they are also no stranger to situations where they are stalked by fans.

Yes, you heard right.
Hailey Ostrom, a well-known golf influencer, shared the 'scary' situation via social media.
The influencer who has over 1 million followers, revealed that one of her fans stalked her, first appearing on the golf course where she was playing, and not long after that in front of her house. She told her parents to call the police, but he left on his own beforehand.
However, what is even more bizarre is what was discovered later: The man who appeared in front of her house was the target of the scam, as he was in contact with a fake profile pretending to be a popular influencer, telling him to send $50,000, ending the contact after that.
As you can imagine, I dont know his intentions and because of some of the situations that Ive had in my past with some followers, I was very skeptical and scared and not going to take any risks, Ostrom said.
